    Family update

    I went to the Dr this morning and my blood tests and xray came back all normal.  No arthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis or inflammation.  Good news.   He did diagnose Fibromyalgia. (not so good news).  He wants me to continue weaning off the Celexa and continue PT and go to Acupuncture and come back in 3 weeks.  At that time he will put me on Cymbalta.  My legs don't want to work right the last couple of days and it hurts so much to walk.  My hips feel like a metal rod is going through my body.  I am hoping it passes soon.  I need to do some internet research and check out some library books.  Did you know that Fibro is the closest condition to RND?
     
    Sweetpea has lost both of her big toe nails.  She is being really brave.  She really wants to put those 2nd pair of socks on!  Her most recent close friend M lost her gramma yesterday.  Gramma was not doing well and M had spent the night at our house.  When she woke up in the morning she had a voice mail saying that her Gramma had died.  It was quite sad.  2 days earlier she woke up at our house to a voice mail saying that her gramma was in the hospital and it took her about an hour to get a hold of her mom.  It was almost deja vu to when Steff was staying at our house and her mom was in and out of the hospital. 
     
    Punkers survived a week at church camp - sleeping in a tent!  She went only knowing one person and of course made lots of new friends (she has a knack for that).   She spent one night at home when she got back and I feel like I have hardly seen her since she got home. 
     
    Jake started a new module at school and he is quite excited about it.  He wants to go into nuclear pharmacy medicine. Something to do with compounding meds and chemo/cancer stuff.  It is more of a specialized field.  Not just working in a pharmacy counting pills.  This mod he is getting to take a class on this stuff. 
     
    Jason has been at Sturgis the last week and comes home next weekend so we have had a little break at home.  Puppy Lili went to stay with Jason's ex (they have joint custody).

    Yes my night away was a mini vacation, it was nice to not worry about anything for a day.
    I can't wait for you guys to get here....I wish you were comng for the concert through.

    The Esty thing: I have only sold 3 things. Some people have sold tons of stuff. Some people have really nice stuff on there. Some people have not-so-nice stuff. I really think that there are SO MANY people on there who are trying to sell stuff that a person has to be unique to sell.

    The GIVE: It really doesn't take too much to make a bit of a difference. That Jake of yours is a sweet sweet man!! ANd the pharmacist ... that is so nice. Sometimes, that is all it takes is $20 or a bit of food to make people not feel so hopeless with the situation that they are going through. Things always get better and then those people will be the ones helping!

    It's my dad! He was a compounding pharmacist! Of course, that's what they did way back in his day, but he was proud of not being a pill counter. He was a Real Pharmacist. It almost destroyed him because he had excema horribly badly, but he kept at it.

    Sorry about M and her Gramma. That is a sad time.
    Sorry about Sweatpea and her toes.
    I feel that your family goes through so much!! And there is no helping from way across the continent. But I do think about you a lot. And all my Seattle friends.
    I would think that trying the yard sale thing one more time would be a good idea. Hang the clothes, price things as cheap as you can. Use tables so people don't have to bend.... then send everything off to GoodWill or whereever. Just don't bring it back in the house. That is my opinion anyway!!
