Sweetpea had her endoscopy yesterday and everything looked fine.  Her esophagus and stomach were all a nice normal pink color.  No red, irritation or swelling.  That just seems unbelievable to me after having almost daily vomiting for the last 8-10 months.  But he said that just means the prevacid and ranitidine are doing their job.  The Dr thinks the vomiting is just from anxiety and related to her RND.  That she needs to learn to manage her anxiety.  That is what the DBT program is about.  So the good news is that there is nothing wrong with her stomach but the bad news is that there is no quick fix for the vomiting. 

 

TWO WEEKS today with only one pair of socks!!   She is pretty much done with the cane too!  She has made a lot of progress in the last 2 months.  She is still in just as much pain.  She has just found it in herself to push past the pain and do the things she needs to do in order to try to get this MONSTER to go away.  I know her brother has been a huge motivator for her.
